I could not agree more with Martin. I am currently working on a translation of the parts list document, and I am VERY interested in pursuing this. I'm still a little fuzzy on where being a member of an ACI-recognized club comes into play. Is it just that you have to be on the club's roster to be able to buy the parts?
I tend to feel that the most effective route would be through an existing club that is already registered. From what I can tell, they are all in Germany.
Thoughts/Ideas? For some reason I imagined that Martin would be all over this, but I sense that he is exceedingly busy with non-audi life activities at this point.

I can appreciate Michael's disappointment but would it not be more
appropriate to channel our energies into lobbying the Audi Car Club of America
to
register, or whatever is required, to enable members to purchase the parts.
There
does not appear to be much time!
Martin Dapot.
