[urq] : A/C - fan always on?

On my past '85, the fan came on all the time with the A/C on. My current '85 had the A/C pulled, so I can't comment on it. We also have an '86 Coupe GT in the family, and it comes on constantly with the A/C switched on as well... FWIW.
I would still suggest that if your fan isn't on all the time with the A/C engaged, that you fix it so that it will.

The pre'84 cars had the fan on at all times with the AC on. If yours does not turn on, one of the relays is likely melted in the glove box. '84 and later cars had a pressure switch up near the radiator that turned the fan on and off as necessary through various other circuits. If I'm wrong on this, please let me know, but I've owned '83, '84 and '85 UrQs and have spent many $$$ dealing with AC issues.
