[urq] RE : : A/C - fan always on?

Eric's 1985 has a rebuilt AC system from an Audi dealer, (you can
imagine the bill...) and his fan cycles on/off. So if they did it right,
we can assume that is a normal behaviour.

Now, when he got the car, the AC was real noisy, from the compressor
area. First I thought that the compressor was dead, but it was blowing
cold air... When I looked under the car, I saw something that made me
wonder why they are billing 95$/hour. The new condenser (1300$) was
correctly bolted to the main radiator, but the lower rad grommet was not
tighten to its support, so the big bucks condenser was rubbing on the
compressor, explaining the metallic noise we were hearing... A couple
weeks later, and the condenser would be shot... Monkey lads even at Audi
?

So I decided to replace the 30$ (???) bushing, just to discover that it
was rusted in place... Then I broke the stud in the rad it while trying
to unwind it... I had to bring the rad to a shop that rethread the hole
in the bottom bracket. 60$ later and now the AC is quiet as the one on a
new car. And the fan cycles...
