Lois-Alain,

I haven't hear from Eric.
Any way you could give me the last digits of the VIN.
Just for my reference sake.

Cutout sounds like may be overboost. i.e. not a vacuum leak but the
opposite. :) The only other time ECU will cut out fuel is the 4k rpm
cutout.

-So.. crankcase vent is correct.
-Head differernce is also correct.
-Thermo-time switch should be on the back of the head for all years.
-However the coolant overtemp switch does move from back of the head to
the coolant outlet spout).
-Half way through '83 tak on ECU was blue.
-Yep, bleeder screw is stock on '84 and up.
-Rad thermo switch is three blade, but only two contacts should be used.
-Yep, ignition module location is different because the A/C relays are gone.

-Also you will notice that the ECU harness exits the firewall in a
diffeerent location.
-You will also notice that the coolant expansion tank is different and in
different location (non interchangable).

There are many differences, if I can think of few more I'll let you know.

Thanks!
Martin
