Yeah, that really, really sucks. Your neighbor offered a new windscreen I hope?? I had a similar experience with my rear URQ window: it was not pushed in completely when I fastened the wipernut and it cracked instantly. It was not that hard (and expensive) to find a another used QUATTRO logo windscreen with all the heat elements in tact, but still a valuable le$$on.
