[urq] Pinstripe removal with Dremel?

The time has come for the twangy, country-tastic tutone aftermarket pinstriping on my urq to be removed. It's the painted-on kind. I think the -best- way to approach it would be with a pinstripe removal air-tool, but for budget reasons I'm going to try to get by with my B&D Dremel knockoff and a polishing attachment. I'd rather not totally "f" up my paint, so if anybody has done this on painted-on pinstripes and would like to share any strong "do's" or "don't's" I would appreciate it!
Thanks,
Jon
