it's not that big on the one i have, it just requires an additional half-moon plug the same as the regular one on the lower...
my valve cover is identical to the one in the picture, also have the ps pump as well,

FYI guys,
Those covers have a huge cut out at the back for the Cam driven 
Hydraulic pump.
