[urq] Oil temp. sender dashboard LED gauge

Recently my oiltemp. gauge (for later style LED version) has gone bad and sticks at 60 degrees. Is there any way to simulate the temp. sender to check if the gauge is still working? I think the sender sends resistance values according to the temps, but I'm not 100% sure. If so, is there a chart or diagram which shows these values?

If the gauge is ok, perhaps the sender is at fault. How does one check the oiltemp. sender with an ohmmeter?

In addition to the oil temp. my volt gauge also shows wrong readings, i.e. a few volts below normal and I'm sure the alternator and battery is ok.

BTW I can't seem to find the oil temp sender on ETKA (it's located somewhere else), where is it??

Thanks

Maurits
