*****Testing a sender is easy: you don't need the exact values, you just need to
measure a linear variation of the resistance from cold to hot. You need a
digital ohmmeter since the variation is minimal.

*****If the sender is on the oil pump cover, then you are right, ETKA doesn't
specify you GV engine. But the oil pump sender (035 919 521B) is a common part
from all 5 cylinders engine, from 80 to SQ, turbo or not. I have found it in the
9-19 pages and the 1-15 pages too, sometimes not illustrated. Are you sure your
GV had the gauge panel originally ?
