Last time I checked, the 4 liter tank 855-955-453 (up to end of 1982) or
857-955-453D (from 1984 and up) was not available here in North America.
Strangely, ETKA has a "black hole" for 1983 !

The little one (1.8 liter, 433 955 453A) was $$$ at the dealership. Used was my
solution from a pick-and-pull since this tank is the one on the 79-92 VW
Cabriolets, Audi 4000 and Coupe, Type 43, and Mk1 VW Rabbits and Jettas.
