Most diesel cars I'm familiar with use an external vacuum pump
to power the brake assist servo .
The vacuum pump is either cam driven with an excentric ring on the camshaft,
much like a fuel pump on a carburetted engine.
Or the vacuum pump is located on the rear of the alternator and shares the
alternator shaft.
And there are separate units available that are belt driven like the ps pump.
These could probably be adaped to fit the ur-q . Would require a custom
bracket , but that can't be to hard to build .
