Well, tire size here would be a small factor. Mathmatically speaking, the
225/50 should be 23.86" tall and the 205/60 should be 24.96" tall. Total
difference between the two being 0.825" divided by two to get height from
the wheel center line to the top of the tire is 0.4125". So, almost a 1/2"
difference between your tires and the ones I was running at the time.
So, I should clarify, the tire wasn't completely tucked into the bodywork,
but the top of the tire wasn't not visable.
My strut bearings were of the Green B4 V6 90 varity.

There is some inconsistency here; I wonder what it is?
Mine definitely is borderline "slammed" in the front on H&Rs, but the tops
of my 225/50s are quite visible in the rear. I replaced all 4 mounts with
the "blues" at the time as well ($20/ea w/thanks to TPC) when I did the
springs and strut inserts.
Definitely something to keep an eye on in any case!
