I am still using the stock vacuum actuators, but I have a nice solution for the controls.  I split the vacuum lines and ran them to two separate electronic vacuum solenoids (ala torsen diff cars).  I then swapped in the power window switch panel from a 4000 and used the rear window switches to control the solenoids.  I can even power down the whole system (when not in use) with the window lock-out button.  Gives it a nice factory look and lets me run my 3-gage cluster in the center stack.
