If your fuel line is "8mm" (I think OD though?) , commercialy  available 5/16
metal fuel line is for all intenets and purposes the same size (OD, And I
suppose ID too?)

I've heard of some going to plastic fuel line. Soemone soemwhere mentioned
going to 'S4' style line, and from what I understand some VW and perhaps even
GM use plastic fuel line.  It's out there, available in the real world
somewhere..
