I used a hair dryer and a plastic bondo applier to scrape off the old  
stickers. A heat gun could get too hot, and the plastic scraper won't hurt the  
paint. Or you could do what I did that prompted me to replace the stickers. Use  a 
pressure washer and watch pieces of your old (perfect) stickers fly  off!
