WRT the WOT switch: It might work when cold but could FAIL when warm/hot. 
BTDT...

PS please note you cannot swap the WOT with the IDLE switch. I believe the 
IDLE switch is NORMAL OPEN (0V>12V when pressed) and the WOT is NORMAL 
CLOSED (12V>0V when pressed), but please correct me if I'm wrong. The WOT 
has 3 headers: 1 for NC and 1 for NO When my NC header failed I used the NO 
header instead and used a relay to reverse it again.

I never really understood the therms OPEN and CLOSE when it's comes to 
electrics, so it could be just the other way 'round... LOL
