[urq] ice blasting + rust proofing

Hi Guys,

while the MB is tucked away for the cold months, I have got time to plan 
next summers projects on her.

One of my major concerns has been the underside of the car. I've got a few 
ideas of what to do:

first I will get the floorpan dry ice blasted ( this is a very gentle way of 
removing rust, stone chip paint etc.) the good thing is that it doesen't 
remove the original paint and you can also blast all rubber parts.

After this the choice would be either to have the underside painted. 
Probably with some epoxy paint.

The other choice I was thinking of, is to only have the floorpan 
rustproofed. With some sort of wax, or oil based material.

Do you guys have a oppinion of which method would be better?
