[urq] a/c compressor conversion

Did anybody ever figure out a good a/c compressor conversion for the
urq? I'm thinking there must be some small rotary compressor from a
little Japanese import car that could be used - I'm thinking the hardest
part is getting a bracket adaptor...
I had my system re-done with a new or rebuilt compressor a couple years
ago for the trip to CT from Denver - however the vent temps were never
very good - certainly warmer than I recalled in the past - I will
hoepfully soon get a gauge on the system to check hi/low side pressures,
but if they seem okay then I think next step may be to figure an
alternative to the mini York. Part of the appeal (of just converting
rather than dicking around) is the at the last couple times I used the
a/c the compressor made weird noises and seemed to send lots of
vibrations thru the whole car - almost seems like its about to
destruct.... although that is an exaggeration....
