I don't know what you guys are rambling about, I always pull low fives
for 0-100kph.......regardless of the speed limit from stop light to
light ;-)

I think the reason why back then tests and manufactorers were quoting
0-50mph because 55 was the highest speed cross the country.
I even remember (and have one for Ur-q) the 85mph speedometers that were
installed in cars to prevent people from going any higher... it was
weird
to see a 85mph speedo in something like a 911 or Corvette... I think
that
stopped in mid 80s.
