Always helps! Speaking of insurance value datapoints, my '83 (~92k miles, mostly original, very clean) has been insured since I got it (in 2003) on a JC Taylor antique and collector insurance policy. Stated value $10k (I paid $9k for the car in 2003 after looking for a few months). Now my agent just sent me a letter with a quote and recommendation to switch to Haggerty (who I was under the impression did not consider the Ur-Q to be collectable, but apparently they do now). Much better coverage, zero deductables. no mileage limitation (just a type of use limitation), and they have no qualms with stated value at $10k. I am assuming that is still sufficient coverage to replace the car were it to me an unfortunate demise (which, of course, I hope it doesn't!)
