[urq] Audi A3

I have not driven the A3 but I have a comment on DSG.
I have driven two cars with DSG.
TT 3.2 VR6, DSG.
Jetta GLI 2.0t DSG

Both were great cars and the DSG worked flawlessly in Both with ONE
Exception.
LAUNCH. 

I'm not sure if its the VR6 vs 2.0, or a tuning difference, or likely a
combination of both but in the TT the DSG seemed tuned more aggressively.
It also seemed to have some sort of Launch Control as if you leftFoot braked
a little and Floored it it would rev up the engine and drop the clutch which
would Catapult the TT forward with all 4 wheels fighting for grip.  It has
probably the Fastest 60ft Across the Intersection time of any stock car I
have driven.

The GLI on the other hand was more relaxed.  On a backroad it performed as
expected but around town it was REALLY Slow to get going from a complete
stop.  I think its probably a mixture of the fact that
A) it didn't seem to have that launch control feature that would rev the
engine a little before dropping the clutch.
B) The turbo lag didn't help any.

My preference.   On a GLI with 2.0t I'd rather have a 6-speed Manual.  But
on the TT with the 3.2VR6, I LOVED that DSG.  It was a LOT of fun.

Hope that helps a little.  Don't know what the A3 is like but if its 2.0t
with DSG, expect delayed responses across an intersection.  Like driving an
Automatic.  But on the backroads its still fun.
