Hello Keith

All the oil temp sensors I see are in the oil pump, at the front of the
engine. There is one early one (1980-1982) that ETKA doesn't show the part
number anymore. Since the KV is an engine from 08/1984 and up, I am pretty
sure the one you need is the big one, M22x1.5 which is 035 919 521B. I have
one here in my parts stock.

If you want a picture of both senders side by side (M18 and M22) I can
remove the small one from my rebuilt engine which will be easy as the
valance is still off, and there is still no oil in the engine. You just have
to ask.

As for your gauge, what oil temp gauge do you have, the 150C or the 180C ?
Wasn't the WR a car with already an oil temp gauge ? If so, then maybe you
already have the correct 180C M22 sender in your oil pump...

If you have a 150C gauge, then I guess that the M18 150C sender is NLA, it's
the one that ETKA doesn't show. It's the one I have on my engine as we
discuss this but I can't read the part number on it without removing it
first. I don't think there is a M22 150C sender in the catalogue. But I have
another solution if need be.

Was I clear enough or just I confused you more ? :_)
