There's another way to do it without cutting any sheetmetal it involves  mounting a 5000 power-steering pump where the ac compressor was. Gives more room at the top for a 2 1/2 inch ic full width. Buuut i haven't tested it yet :) i've done the brackets and it lines up nicely tho.  Also i still need to find a ic with the right end tanks facing the rear at a not too insane price. All the ones i see face the sides.
