[urq] Vintage 80's steering wheel

Late golf 2 (89 90 ish) has a bigger hole in the wheel and an adaptor on the
column that needs some persuasion to remove.
Might be worth specifying if you have two golf adaptors listed in a parts
catalogue.
The early golf 2 and the 89 200 columns look the same, but i've never been
bothered to swap them over "just to see"

My Momo aftermarket on the golf, with the adaptor puts the rim of the wheel
about 1/2 an inch closer to the "steering nut" i.e. the nutter doing the
steering.

We could try that on your URQ if you want, but there's NO F&&KEN WAY i'm
sticling that poo brown item from the URQ, in my rally car as some kind of
reciprocal arrangement.

S2 wheel fits with a the Nardi adaptor - same part as for golf, rabbit
(which the part guy could easily find when I bought mine several years back)

Sorry I don't have the P/N

Hi there,

I just pass yesterday to see Brady's urQ and this is the wheel he has on his
car. Very nice indeed, and brown to match the interior. Now, to find one...

I agree about the S2 wheel : a lister offered me one already, but it was in
a 5ktq. Can I fit it in my urQ ? I guess I'll have to buy an adaptor (boss),
so is the 321 419 661A the one to get ?

The wheel was made by lanti (?) in Italy - no Audi part number i'm afraid
but stamped on the rear of the wheel is the date 23-1-85, kba 70027, ati-2

if that is any help.
I have been told that these wheels were available as optional extras on
quattros but were also available on contemporary Golf Gti's (but without the

Audi Sport Script on the centre pad and the Audi "chevron" on the top right
horn button). The boss part number is 321 419 661A.
