Great idea, indeed. Testing an actual unit would show me how different is an
aftermarket wheel, length wise. The last thing I need is a shorter reach to
the steering wheel, (my wingspan is over 2 meters, that is 6 1/2 ft). But I
agree with Martin, spacing behind the wheel is a bit short on Brady's 4000q,
which sports a Grant GT wheel.

My Momo aftermarket on the golf, with the adaptor puts the rim of the wheel
about 1/2 an inch closer to the "steering nut" i.e. the nutter doing the
steering.
We could try that on your URQ if you want, but there's NO F&&KEN WAY i'm
sticling that poo brown item from the URQ, in my rally car as some kind of
reciprocal arrangement.
