I have a bad 75mm bearing and I order the B90-BMW kit 3 weeks ago from a place that had a great price but just told me it is still backordered for another month. So I cancelled that. A lister told me that the BMW kit is all i need for the urq.
I was thinking about the full kit - but I'm just guessing it would have stuff in the BMW kit - (i.e. everything to swap my urq F bearing). Also with extra adapters I might choose the wrong items, vs the BMW only kit. So less is more.
I also searched and found some comments on a competing screw type unit (schl??? brand ) and people claim these things wear out in the screws, and there is a possibility of damaging the strut housing with all these kits.
My other option is to take the car - or maybe just the strut housing to a shop, and have them do the work - I guess the Audi method per the manuals is to use a shop press.
Also I think Katman once offered up a method , maybe this involved a press, breaking the bearing .
The full sirs R&R kit is over $470.
