[urq] 01E in an UrQ - How To

Hi Pat,

Shifter from an Ur-s4 fits without mods on newer cars.
Your CBL had a pro-con 10 bracket in the tail housing which makes things
difficult. The newer 01Es do not have it (it's a bolt on) and it's very
close to shape of the 016.
Ralf Wiesner had the entire shift linkage from Ur-S4 on his Coupe Quattro
(typ 85).

Andrew,

I am gathering parts to do the conversion and have made a provisional list
on my motorgeek project page (4000q 2.5tdi with 6-speed).

Cheers
