I installed a windshield once in my previous typ85 CGT and used NO sealant. Mind you this 
was an aftermarket 'thinner' windshield but still fitted tight in the rubber gasket, no 
problems at all. HTH

Does anyone have any windshield installation or removal experience in
the Coupe?

Someone has suggested that there is some sealant involved.
If so, how do you do that with the rubber gasket.
Has anyone seen or used a sealant in this application?
