It's a car I had to rebuild from scratch .
Bought it a couple of years ago as an empty shell .
No engine , gearbox , dash , interior ...
But the body was in remarkable good shape for an '81 .
Then I found an original WR engine , in bit's n pieces .
Rebuild the head , rebuild the block ,
Put it together again and put it in the car .
Fuel pump was seized .
Metering head had to be rebuild cause it was stuck .
Some fuel line's , the filter was gone etc etc .
Warmup regulator taken apart cleaned ....
You get the picture .
So now the engine runs .
Spark plugs are black , and need to be cleaned after
every two or 3 starts . With clean plugs , it fires up reasonably good .
Lotsa grey-ish bad smelling smoke from the exhaust .
Idle is reasonably but could lbetter .
So as every system except the waste gate has been tampered with , I thought I 'de
run the full diagnoses as described in the factory worksop manual .
See if it's all within spec .

Patrick.............
I think you would be better served if you would explain the issue you are having with your car. At first glance; fuel rates aren't going to tell you anything really from an alpha diagnostic standpoint. Fuel pressure would but there are easier indicators to determine if this is an issue depending on the symptom. My $.02 PC

Folks , I need to do some diagnoses on the fuel system .
Got a gut feeling It's one or two bad injectors , but I'm gonna
do the whole procedure , one step at the time .
Workshop manual say's the first step ought to be
to check the fuel pump delivery .
Only they don't say how and howmuch .
What's the fuel pump delivery supposed to be ?
Do I simply take of the return line near the k-jet , power the pump , and
catch the returned fuel in a calibrated jar for a certain amount of time ?
Or do I have to masure it on the pressure line ?
