It depends on how much boost and rpm you expect to push.
Anything over 300hp I would be looking for 3".
On my old '85 with chipped 3B I felt the exhaust was my next weak link.
If I had kept the car it would be the next upgrade on the list.

The new project with GT3071r and 034 chipset will definetly be using 3".
