[urq] Hydraulic fitting - still searching - HELP!

Another option is to take the original fittings and weld a new steel fitting
to the other end. I.e. cut off the fitting end of a new fitting (leaving the
barbed part) and do the opposite with your original fitting. Then weld them
together. I've done something similar (I brazed it though) to make fuel line
adapters when I converted my old 5ktq to EFI.

The only downside with this is that the heat can cause the plating to fail,
and it could warp the fitting, necessitating a bit of clean up with a fine
file, and a some wet/dry sandpaper on a flat surface.
