[urq] Hydraulic fitting - still searching - HELP!

Ya - I have buddy over in Germany right now Erol who is in copy on this email. Maybe he
can bring some back. Here is the info. on it again. I'm simply trying to figure out
what to identify these fittings as.
[Metric threads (approx.16mm) outer diameter (measureing outside threads).
Compression fitting - standard use on Audi fuel and hydraulic lines.
It is the same fitting that goes to the fuel return line in the Coupe Quattro - the
larger fitting that goes from regulator out to return line.
The fittings/line I need to fab/replace is the hydraulic line that goes from the
Hydraulic Pressure accumulator. (bomb) to the power steering rack on the '83 and later
Ur Quattro. 857 422 893 is the complete hose - maybe they have one, but if I know what
the fittings are - size & nomenclature (what do you call the fitting standard) that will
help.]
I'm thinking I ought to source a bunch of these and make some lines.
Are these simply called Metric 16MM compression flare Female/Male? See there are
several metric standards - they all look the same on a picture, but thread
sizes/pitch/cutangle are different enough to cause problem.
Cheers!
Ben
