[urq] how does this happen?

There is a difference between
1) restoration for profit (making it worth $$ your while) and
2) restoration because you want to have piece of history regardless of cost.
Most quattro owners do not fall into either of the above category because
1) the parts are NLA for the firs case and resale values are low and
2) because most (99%) of the quattro enthusiasts do not have unlimited
bank accounts.
Hence low low prices and no interest in remaking parts.
