 Yep... and I think that is where the urq's existence will be reduced to very small numbers.  To this day we see old rusty ones being parted and scrapped.  If/when people start trying to resurrect even the worst of urq remains, then we're talking about a collectors car.

I wonder what remains of the original quantity produced?

BTW, I would gladly pay $500 each for a pair of brand new door pockets for my '85... gladly.

I have moved on to that portion of life where – I just paythe bill for hard to find parts.  Whining about the cost is a waste oftime.  If I busted my windshield – and it will happen someday –I’m already expecting it will be a $1k repair bill to get new glass, doneright – or a custom solution.
 
You can’t own an UrQ on the cheap.  Those days aregone if you’re trying to keep it in tip-top condition.
