[urq] Protecting an UrQ Windshield - is there any product ala: 3M film that can be used?

Well anything will eventually turn yellow if left out and parked in the Sun. But ideally it wouldn't turn yellow from occasional drives in the daylight while being stored inside a garage for 99% of the time.

I just wondered aloud if one could just use a really big sheet of Stone-Guard, or that 3M paint-protecting film product.
I've seen how well it does in crashes on friends cars, it seems like as long as it's not total-junk optically - that putting it onto the windshield and replacing every couple years would make for less stressful UrQ motoring.
