Rob,
Here up North, batteries are challenged by cold temps, but they do last a
long time. The one I got in the urQ was an OEM Volvo, and it's still working
perfectly even if it dates back to 2001. I think it was made by Varta. I
fact, I replaced it (without really needing to) a few years ago because of a
cold start problem, (wiring issue to the cold-start valve) but a friend
"vaporized" my new battery by driving the car with a blown alternator. The
Volvo battery is back in the car since.
As for your dead battery, my solution, instead of finding that 0.2 A draw,
was to install a master cut-off switch (very racing-like...) between the two
front seats. I only had to lengthen the wires and pass them under the
carpet. It doubles as a nice theft-prevention device. No more dead batteries
anymore, except when I forget to remove the big red key for weeks...

First of all I'm dumbfounded that there are now three UrQ's in Houston by
the sounds of it.
But on the battery subject I'm a believer and consumer in Interstate
products.
The primary distribution depot for Interstate in Houston was not too far
from my old place near the Museum District, so getting odd sizes was no
problem.
I've bought the previous MTP-91 in the past and it's worked brilliantly, as
has the MT-48 since down south we rarely need massive cranking power for
cold-start. I do recall at one point I had to un-dent the battery
compartment back to it's original form (Thanks Steamboat...) in order to fit
the MTP-91 correctly in terms of mounting height.
