[urq] Looking for a Thermostat...

If you did a full coolant flush then technically Prestone is fine. I ran "Green stuff" for many years in my 10vt. The Pentosin Blue fluid isn't that expensive in the grand scheme of car maintenance so I've started running it now just because I'm anal.

After the Green stuff on my 10vt I started running the Peak "World" coolant or something like that. It appears to be a Dexcool derivative (IE... Similar to the Audi Pink) but it claims to be fully compatible with both. In fact it says its compatible with all coolants. I ran it in Central America because A) Suprisingly I cold find it there b) You never know where you'll have an issue and I wanted flexibility. At the time of leaving the car there I had no issues with coolant gelling or anything of the sort and I had run it there with Green and Peak World mixed.

Again though, If you flushed your system well, IMHO Prestone will be fine.
