Audi is only concerned with the word Audi and has 32 different trademarks
protecting it. When we put on the URQ25; I spoke with Susan Flohr; Audi's
trademark attorney here in the States. She didn't know what URQ meant; but
Audi had no trademark on it. They do have a trademark for quattro; but only
when it is used for automotive purposes. There are over 44 "quattro"
trademarks used in different industries. Also, you can get a local trademark
(statewide) but it is always trumped by a Federal Trademark outside the
State and it is all trumped by an international trademark.
