I believe you are right John.
I know how protective Audi is of its trademarks ... and I'm concerned that
they will be going after people and organizations who have used the term ...
good thing we call this the "urq" list ...
I thought about where the term may have come from ... perhaps it was a parts
desk employee in Germany, but I'd like to think it was an urq owner in
Germany who was asked whether it was an 80 quattro, 90 quattro, 100 or 200
quattro part he was looking for ... not any of these, it is an UR-quattro!

In some Audi sales material I received in an e-mail recently I noticed the
"Circle-R" registered trademark after the word "Ur-quattro" ... I did not
think Audi coined the term, did they?
