[urq] 1st Oil Change After Rebuilt

Currently I'm running mineral 15W-40 oil during the break-in period and sceduled my first oil / filter change after 1000 km.

Question: 

A) Should I change oil and filters with new mineral oil untill the rings are properly seated?
B) Should I switch to synthetic Mobil 1 15W-50 or is it too soon?

I've read 1000 km is not enough to seat the rings and switching to synth will prolong the break-in period?? 

FYI: I'm breaking the engine in "hard".
