[urq] A new project : a 5000TD !

Coming from a long line of diesels (VAG and otherwise) and being a
long time Audi enthusiast...

Take the turbo diesel out of the 5k automatic and plop it in to a 4kQ.
Motor will bolt directly in to place, CIS is removed because the
diesel motor has a mechanical pump & injection system (so no wiring).
The 4kQ weighs a lot less then the 5k giving it a feeling of having
power (apposed to wondering when you might hit 65mph) not to mention
the less weight, the better the MPG. That paired up with the 5 speed
and AWD, torque will be everything you want it to be. I was going to
embark on the same project myself after owning a VW Diesel Rabbit
(MK1) for some time but voted against it knowing the 5k diesel motors
are hard to com eby (and watch out for that injection pump,
proprietary to the 5kD and very very pricey to replace... if you can
find one.)
