I bought the part Audi made for the newer cars from someone on eBay in
Germany.  I looked to see if there was a part number stamped on it somewhere
... didn't see anything.  While I know Jeff, I've never seen the part he
made.  It sounds like the 034 part may not be adjustable ... but I've got no
BTDT.  The Audi part has a couple bolts that hold two parts together, and
there are slotted holes to allow adjustment.  From reading the comments it
sounds like if there is any advantage to the Audi part it may be
adjustability.  

If you want more info about the Audi part check the archives ... if you
can't find anything let me know and I'll dig up the info I have ...

I have a dremling tool, would that do the small trim requier?

Do I need to disconect any lines? or just work my puzzleing magic?
