I have a metric Tilton adjustable on my '82 urq with Porsche Boxster fronts 
and urS4 rears.   I removed the
factory proportioning valve when I installed the vacuum booster and put in 
the adjustable one.   It works
fine; I set it once and only need to touch it if I change brake pads (like 
from street to track in the Porsche
