Brandon is correct in his recollection. Get the pump out the way..

Also, if you keep the stock rad, remember that you need to block off the now
unused aux rad hoses, not join them together.

(Some people do that..!   Not realizing that joing the hoses just returns
heated coolant to the motor, without cooling it)
