You know, my car didn't have a quattro badge on the front grill when I got
it ... it's an '83 purchased used in 1986.  I bought one from the dealer and
installed it ... I think it came from a 4kQ.  I would recommend that you
check wrecking yards for a 4kQ or 5kQ.  IIRC at some point the ribs on the
grille changed shape.

One of the previous owners of this car took the front badge off and i
