The only grills I have or have seen with the quattro badge were from 4ks.

You know, my car didn't have a quattro badge on the front grill when I got
t ... it's an '83 purchased used in 1986.  I bought one from the dealer and
nstalled it ... I think it came from a 4kQ.  I would recommend that you
heck wrecking yards for a 4kQ or 5kQ.  IIRC at some point the ribs on the
rille changed shape.
