... not so sure why CIS would be involved ... anyway ... if you have the
ignition key in the on position and don't see battery voltage at the black
wire to the coil you have pretty well localized this problem ... it is
either the ignition switch, the fusebox or the wiring between.  You can
verify the ignition switch indirectly by seeing if the gauges and lights on
the instrument cluster come on with the key.  

Compared to cars even 5 years newer the urq is quite simple electrically ...
not to say there aren't inherent weaknesses ...

One of our guys is trying to get his car going and had no spark.  As per a
couple threads below I had him check for power at the coil and in the ON
position he had no power at the coil from either black wire at the coil.  Im
not good with CIS or stock ignition - that was my primary reason for going
efi.

Can anyone give a basic direction for him to look?  He's kinda frantic
trying to get the car running for tomorrow
