To clear as much fog about this, here is what's specified with the WX/KH
head gasket set (Elring # 307.620):

Use new bolts : M11 x 96 mm, (part # 819.850).

Torque following the sequence illustrated here :

	--------------------------------
	[9	5	3	1	7	11]
	[12	8	2	4	6	10]
	--------------------------------

First step : 40 Nm (29 ft-lb)
2nd step : 60 Nm (44 ft-lb)
3rd step : Add 90 degrees
4th step Add another 90 degrees.

There is also some supplemental instructions :

- Lightly lubricate the bolt threads
- If the bolt uses a washer, oil the gap between the washer and the bolt
head
- Important : do not oil the surface under the washer that makes contact
with the cylinder head.

So, from memory, I'm quite sure we didn't use oil the last time we did the
job. And I do remember clearly that I cleaned the holes in the block, with
brake cleaner and a rag. More, the head was not perfectly cleaned inside
since it was a used head that had been checked for straightness only.

So, out of three important notes, we did a grand total of none. That should
explain the lack of pressure that I saw last week. This won't happen
again...

Hope this will help a few DIYers...
