[urq] Clutch Slave Problem?

I did it twice in situ, and each time I used a 2ft long steel rod (1/2in)
and a big hammer. From above, with the steering fully retracted to the left,
hit the little boss where the hose is bolted. The slave will rotate a bit,
enough to break the seal made of galvanic corrosion (aluminum trans housing
+ steel slave = very strong paste of AL2O3 and Fe2O3).

I hadn't started the urq for over a month until I needed to move it to help
a friend with some fluid changes on his bimmer. I noticed that the clutch
pedal felt a bit strange when depressed, and it was a little reluctant to
return when released, but it did come up on its own. After one or two
press/release cycles, the pedal went completely stiff (won't depress at all)
and the clutch seems to be disengaged (shifter will move into gear
positions, but car still rolls freely). 

I'm guessing the slave piston is jammed. I tried tapping it with a hammer,
but can't get much force on it. I opened the bleed screw and extracted some
fluid with a vacuum bleeder, but no change. I decided to pull the slave, and
after some persuasion got the roll pin out. However, the slave is still
solidly in place, probably because it's got clutch spring pressure against
it. Anyone have any suggestions for removal or other diagnostic tips?
