[urq] Clutch Slave Problem?

I will be really curios to see how this turns out especially after the
initial symptoms were presented:
a.) The clutch pedal became stiff and would not depress and the clutch is
disengaged. Shouldn't that position of the clutch pedal indicate that the
clutch is in the engaged position?
b.) Eric indicated that he relieved the bleeder valve on the slave. When he
did that, if there was pressure in the hydraulic line holding the pedal
stiff and the clutch fork in; shouldn't that have released both of those?
c.) If the clutch reengaged when Eric backed the slave out; doesn't that
necessarily mean that the piston has popped out of the slave and can't
retract? Or, could the ball on the end of the slave linkage worn partially
through the fork (I have witnessed this on several occasions on the old cast
forks) and then the piston popped out of the slave and could not return,
holding the clutch disengaged?
e.) Even if this scenario is true; it does not explain why the clutch pedal
cannot be depressed.
Keep us informed as to what you find out please? /Peter
